About I. Foster Learning

Our Mission

Whether it is test prep, subject tutoring or admissions guidance, at I. Foster Learning, our mission is to empower students through unique, individualized plans.  We believe in thoughtful teaching, delivered with clarity, honesty and compassion.

Equity & Access

We all do better when all children have access to high-level education and support. IFL is committed to leveling the playing field: every academic year, we offer comprehensive pro-bono tutoring to students in need, providing them with the same high-quality instruction as their full-paying peers. If you know someone who could benefit from pro-bono tutoring, please reach out to Isaac at isaac@ifosterlearning.com.

When not tutoring, Bryce enjoys painting the landscape (you can view his work on IG at BryceBennett.8).

In his spare time Myles enjoys learning Spanish and going to trivia with friends.

Drew Rollins: Drew is from Elkton, Maryland, and attended the University of Virginia, where he majored in English and Cognitive Science on a pre-med track. He has taught a variety of subjects including math, writing, music, and psychology. Moreover, he likes helping students prepare for the SAT, the ACT, the LSAT, and other standardized tests. Outside of academics, Drew enjoys playing pickup basketball, singing, practicing guitar, reading fiction, writing poetry, and getting very very lost whilst trying to navigate the New York City subway system.

Isabella Tillman: Isabella is a graduate of Williams College. She has worked as the International Student Counselor within the Admissions Department at Lawrence Technological University. At LTU, Isabella reviewed applications, evaluating the many aspects that make a strong student, as well as coaching international applicants through the enrollment process. She maintains a passion for helping high school students navigate the complexities of the college admissions process.

Charlotte Thornton: Charlotte studied Spanish at James Madison University. After college, she moved to Costa Rica where her passion for the language grew even stronger. She loves to help students learn Spanish and understand the endless opportunities the language brings.

Isaac has worked with all three of my children, starting with college test prep/applications, then graduate school test prep/applications, and finally job applications. During this time, I witnessed Isaac’s ability to get to know my children, understand their learning style, and make the learning process fun. Furthermore, Isaac brings a layer of mentoring to his teaching, which helped my children navigate and flourish during particularly stressful moments of their lives. Isaac is the gift who keeps giving, and I would highly recommend him to any family seeking a best-in-class experience for their children.
