At I. Foster Learning, we know how challenging the application process can be for students and families. Our goal is to help alleviate stress, provide students and parents with knowledge, and offer guidance at every step of the way. We believe that it is vital to maintain clear lines of communication with both students and parents throughout the college process.
Our College Admission Services
The Search: Through discussions about preferences, academic goals and geographic guidelines, we offer college and university suggestions, presenting information in easy-to-use documents. We return to these schools throughout the process, weighing out the different aspects as families tour colleges and learn more about each.
Test Prep: We offer tutoring for both the ACT and the SAT.
We work with your student to make sure they pick the test that is best suited for them.
In one-on-one sessions, we guide students through test-taking strategies and test content, tailoring each session to your student’s needs and goals.
Through regular mock testing, we help students build stamina, alleviate stress and set benchmarks.
After each session, both students and parents receive lesson summaries, which recap what was covered, assign homework and keep everyone on the same page.
Essay Writing: At I. Foster Learning, we believe the strongest essays tell a student’s unique story with a clear sense of voice.
In our work together, step one is always to help your students brainstorm to find their subject, making sure each essay responds directly to the prompt
We guide students through the writing process, setting benchmarks each session, providing feedback and keeping an eye on their timelines to complete the work and avoid the last minute cram.
