Test Prep & Academic Tutoring

How We Help
Test Prep: We work with students to master content and develop strategies for the ISEE, SSAT, SHSAT, TACHS, SAT, ACT, GMAT, GRE and TOEFL. We work with our students to learn the content needed to score higher, while developing stamina, managing time and using test-taking strategies.
Academic Tutoring: We work with students to achieve their goals across subject areas in English, history, math, sciences and foreign languages (Spanish and French). We recognize that building a student’s knowledge and skill set in a subject area empowers a student, improves confidence and helps them grow.
Organizational Help: Oftentimes students benefit from both academic support and organizational support in order to achieve their goals. IFL is there to help. We pair students with tutors who can help them create organizational systems, break down large assignments into smaller, manageable pieces, and create calendars that include all of the many aspects of life our students juggle.
Professional Writing: At times, even the most advanced students need help with doctoral dissertations, CVs and other writing requirements. Whether it is someone to help you brainstorm the right topic, or proofread your document before you send it off, we are here to help.
